One of our customers asked,
"Why use a sound stage? We want to produce an internal corporate video
but still minimize production costs. We’re going to tape some of our people in our office. That should save some money, right?"

First, You Should Consider Some of the Obstacles You Are Likely to Encounter :
- If you do the taping in well traveled areas, will you be disrupting other associates? Some may view your presence as a nice paid break in their day. Others may consider it a huge inconvenience, causing them to be unproductive for an extended period of time, perhaps missing an important deadline.
- If you are recording sound, what unwanted noises may end up on the tape? Chatter in the office next door, laughter near the water cooler, elevator bells, white noise generators in the ceiling, intercoms, piped-in music, airplanes, and air handling equipment have tainted many a well intentioned shoot. The extensive wiring in some office ceilings and floors can even act as a radio antenna, replacing your talent’s voice with a live broadcast from the local DJ.
- Will your subjects be comfortable performing in front of the impromptu crowd that may quickly gather?
- Can you achieve acceptable lighting with the overhead fluorescents and bright windows you will probably encounter?
- With all the distractions, how productive will you really be? Will you end up with the acceptable quality you really wanted on tape? Are retakes on another day likely?
Consider some of the
advantages of having your video shoot in a professional sound stage:
- You will be working in a controlled sound environment, yielding clean, natural voices.
- Without distractions, productivity will dramatically improve, resulting in fewer shooting days.
- In a sound stage environment, you will be able to concentrate on what is most important. You will see and hear nuances that can easily be improved on the next take.
- Lighting can be controlled, resulting in a natural, more pleasing finished product.
- We can provide you with numerous background settings and a wide variety of reusable set components and props.
- Multiple
“locations” can often be accomplished on the same day in the sound stage. It is common for us to create an office setting, a studio environment and a conference room all in our stage at the same time. Then we simply move the talent a few feet to the next set and continue shooting.
- If teleprompting is required, we can provide camera-mounted and off-camera options.
A
la carte Services:

turnkey video and event staging services, we also offer any of our
